The breakfast was top-notch, with a variety of delicious options that impressed us. The staff's friendliness created a warm atmosphere, making our stay enjoyable.

However, the room could have used better sound insulation.

Had a decent stay, the staff moved us to a new room immediately when the shower handle broke on us, which was a nice relief. The grounds were pretty nice, giving the kids a chance to run around a bit without worrying too much.

It wasn’t cheap, but it was acceptable given the circumstances.

Comfortably landscaped grounds with different relaxation spots like hammocks, fire pits, and outdoor seating add a nice touch for unwinding after a day at the beach. The outdoor heated pool offers a great way to relax in style, especially after a sandy excursion.

The bathrooms could really use some updates—my tub showed signs of old stains and felt outdated. To make matters worse, there aren’t any small refrigerators available in the rooms unless you pay extra, which seems designed to encourage spending at the on-site restaurant. I’ve stayed at various spots, and this lack of a basic necessity struck me as a letdown, especially considering the price. Lastly, the air conditioning unit sent out some pretty noticeable noise during the night, which isn't the best thing when you're trying to catch some sleep.

We had a lovely family getaway at this hotel, enjoying the cozy king room with super comfy beds and delicious meals right on-site. The garden area is a gem, complete with hammocks and swings, perfect for relaxing after a day at the pool. Just a heads up, a fridge isn't standard in the rooms, but overall, it was a great stay! 😊

I had a wonderful stay with clean, fresh rooms and a fantastic restaurant on the premises for all meals, which made it super convenient for getting started on my daily adventures. I also loved that Kirk Park Beach and Hither Woods Preserve were just short walks away for some beautiful park views and strolls along the shore.

I enjoyed the charming gardens that felt straight out of a storybook, the delightful brunch, and the beautiful pool area. I’d definitely return for another relaxing stay!
